I started making tail bags in 2010 when I purchased my very first palomino Quarter Horse to try to keep his tail white. Now I still make tail bags but they have evolved over the years to our new tail bootie. Each bootie is handmade with quality waterproof fabrics to create a good fit and to ensure moisture is not removed from the tail. Every bootie is made with strong reinforced stitching and the 100% waterproof wetsuit fabric will ensure your horse can love every tail bootie for a long time. Of course, tail booties are about more than just a fashion statement. Our tail booties are designed with your horse's health and well-being in mind. We set out to create products that anyone can use to help keep their horses happy and healthy. Our tail booties promote healthy hair growth by keeping the tail clean, tangle-free, and protected from dirt, breakage, and rubbing. Additionally, we offer the option to replace your tail bootie's inner bags, and our Fly Swishers if they get damaged by a simple velcro attachment system.

Our Tail Bootie is a strong and durable alternative to the traditional tail bag. The Tail Bootie is constructed of a durable wetsuit fabric shell that is 100% water resistant, with an inner bag to hold the braided tail in a safe position.
Replaceable Inner Bags
Our Inner Bags are made from lycra and are an important part of our tail bootie.
There is a strip of velcro on the back of each bag that connects to the bootie to hold your braided tail in place.

Available in:
Small- Mini pony or hock length tail, some thick tailed weanlings and most yearlings.
Medium- Most common size, tail can touch ground but isn't thicker than your point finger and thumb wrapped around the tail under tail bone.
Large- Long, thick tail can get thumb and pointer finger around hair at base of tailbone but is more of a challenge.

How long does it take for my order to get to me?
Most Tail Bootie's are made to order according to your specifications, usually your order is made in 1-3 business days, Postage times will vary depending on your location & you will be provided with a tracking number so you have access to the status of your parcel once posted.
Can I request a shorter length for my pony?
Absolutely! When placing your order, add a note to seller requesting pony size.
Can I arrange local pick up?
Sure! If you are local to Chambers Flat or Burpengary, we can arrange local pick up. Just message or email us!
